TELL ME THE TRUTH ABOUT LOVE is a film of love and music set in the 1930’s and ‘40’s. The film tells of the early personal and professional relationship between the composer Benjamin Britten and his muse and lover the tenor Peter Pears.   It’s about the complex interlocking of the personal and professional; how Britten’s first great opera Peter Grimes could not have come about without their relationship and also how, without the challenges of creating Peter Grimes, Ben and Peter’s relationship may have withered and died in an LA Diner.
